You’re right, Femi. As the child of Nigerian immigrants who arrived here in the 1980s, you feature nowhere in our history. You have nothing in English history to be proud of - but, like every other English person, I do. I can visit places my ancestors personally built, read archived English newspapers and books that name my ancestors and commemorate their presence in this land, visit generations of graves where blood has finally mixed with soil toiled over. You cannot.
You are not included in the “we” denoting us English. You are not English, you do not speak for us. We deserve St George’s Day to celebrate because it is a history worth celebrating - and what you think does not matter.

Election training update
These are the details that are available at the moment.
Event
To take place on Saturday 29th June in the Birmingham area. Start time 11am and finish around 4pm.
Pricing
We aim to do this at cost, so room hire, buffet lunch and manual are the only costs. Nobody will receive payment, the session delivery and security are all being done voluntarily. We are estimating the ticket price to be around £20.
Manual
We are producing a 56 page manual to accompany the session. The manual, the cost price of which, will be included in the ticket price and is for each attendee to take away with them.
Lunch
A buffet lunch will be provided and is included in the ticket price.
Session delivery
The training sessions will be delivered by myself and Nick Griffin. Once again let me stress this will be non ideological and non partisan. It's about the mechanics of how to fight and win an election.
Security
We will be operating a redirection point on the day to protect the venue and the attendees. The redirection point will be close to rail links and a couple of miles from the actual venue. On arrival at the redirection point your name will be checked off the list at which point you will receive the venue location. Those arriving by train will be ferried to and from the train station.
